The Austin Area Quilt Guild, 2012 raffle quilt "Affairs of the Heart" was designed by artist and author, Aie Rossman. This awe-inspiring applique design includes 36 beautiful blocks each containing a heart motif and hand embroidery. Hearts and florals intertwine on a dark background to produce a kaleidoscope of color. A stunning border of scrolls provides the perfect finishing accent for this lovely quilt.

The quilt was constructed of 100% cotton fabrics and techniques include hand applique, hand embroidery and machine piecing. The quilt was made by members of the Austin Area Quilt Guild and was exquisitely machine quilted by Martha Tsihlas of Austin, Texas.
