Our bee project in 2007 was a block exchange using reds, blacks, whites, and grays. The bee members all know I will take leftover scraps from anything, so I ended up with a LARGE box of these colors. Last year I decided to sort them out and do something with them. When I saw this pattern in ‘Log Cabin ABC's’ by Marti Michell, I knew it would be the perfect companion for the quilt on my bed from the 2007 project! Not one extra fabric was bought in making this quilt.
