This head turning garment was inspired by some old rayon ribbon that I inherited. It was knitted in a very ugly skirt. I loved the color so I took it apart and ironed it out, then ran it through my ruffler attachment to create flowers. The bodice of the dress was crazy quilted using various fabrics. All the seams were done with bobbin work using decorative threads. I made bear tubes from silk and applied them to front and back. The asymmetrical bodice was achieved by applying handmade crochet flowers and leaves with beads over one shoulder. The skirt is 100% silk. There is a matching crazy quilted purse to complete the outfit.
