I joined Mary Beard's crazy quilt bee about a year ago and developed a passion for crazy quilting. This is the second one I've ever made. I hope this quilt will be handed down to many generations of my descendants so I embroidered our family name in one of the blocks. I worked on this quilt throughout 2009 and I embroidered the month as each passed by. I hope 100 years from now members of my family will still have this quilt.
