This quilt was completed during a 10-month block activity called "Five at the Hive" from Honey Bee Quilt Store in 2006-2007. The appliqué center was an additional pattern/packet to purchase. Borders were added to create a longer and wider quilt--one of which includes a packet of 5-inch squares.
