My husband and I lived in Rochester, MN for 2 years. I traveled back and forth to Austin for my work. There was a lovely quilt store, "Just A Little Something" in Rochester. I joined their block of the month club and carried the appliqué back and forth. The quilt hangs on my sewing room wall and reminds me of our time in Minnesota where there was lots of snow and cold but the summers shared an incredible fruit bounty. I have fond memories of picking strawberries, Peppin apples, and beautiful vibrant flowers. The pattern is from my favorite appliquérs, Piece O' Cake. The fabrics were picked by the owner of Just a Little Something.
