This quilt was a collaboration with a friend who lives in Washington State. It has been years in the making, as you might conclude since some of these fabrics are real oldies.... The quilt top has been sitting in the top of my closet for a few years now. My beloved cat, Pomona, used to enjoy lying on the fabrics & blocks as I sewed. After she died, I decided to hand quilt this piece as a tribute to the greatest cat who ever lived.
