This was my 40th birthday quilt made by my sister Susan Rubino. She used a pattern that showed how ‘crazy’ & wonderful our lives are. She used various colors to signify the different stages of my life & different places of my life. The one most important part of the quilt is the center square, which was from my father’s robe. It shows that he was central in our lives. I know it took two years to construct & hand quilt this work of art & it truly was a gift from the heart.
