Remember Me -- A Family History by Doris Jablonski
"Remember Me" combines my two passions, quilting and genealogy. It was made to honor my direct line ancestors and thirteen descendants. Circles of the wreaths represent my family circle. The log cabin blocks represent my pioneer ancestors as they moved from Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina into Missouri. The mariner's compass blocks represent my immigrant ancestors who came to America from England as early as 1623. Finally the yellow roses of the compasses represent my grandchildren who are the first generation since the 1820s, who were not born in Missouri, but in Texas.
