Comments

On March 20, 2012 one of my best friends in the world was tragically killed in an automobile accident. I was devastated. As a way of dealing with my grief, I created this crazy quilt in her memory. Debra was a very "girly" girl, who loved flowers, lace, animals and all things beautiful. Everything in this quilt has some sort of special meaning from the roses (one of her favorite flowers) to the silkie of the 3 women (representing the 3 of us who were best friends - Debra, Patti and me), and the watch face symbolizing the passing of time. Plus much, much more. I still miss her every day, but am so grateful that she was a part of my world.
