Thanksgiving is the day my family picks names for Christmas gifts. I started giving quilts as my gift. I love batiks so when I saw this pattern at the Houston Quilt Show I had to have it. The next year I splurged and bought the package of batiks. It took me about 2 years on and off to make. (If I ran into problems I would put it away for a while.) Denise Green from Houston quilted it for me. She did a beautiful job of machine quilting and now I have a quilt for me.
