Growing up in the early 70's in New Jersey, Bruce Springsteen was part of my life at the Jersey Shore (nothing like the TV show). I get chills every time I hear 'Born To Run', (BTR) and the lyrics 'we gotta get out while we're young'. Bruce was telling me not to waste my youth... and do something worthwhile. This quilt is all about BTR. I lay on this quilt outside and look up at the blue sky, thinking back to my younger days and realizing the impact this song had in my life. Bruce, thanks for being a part of my youth.
