This quilt was made to commemorate a trip that Maxine Wallace and I made to Round Top, Texas. We went to the home tour there and decided to treat ourselves to a mid-afternoon dessert at Roger's on the town square. We had such a fun time there with the oil cloth tablecloths repaired with duct tape and a good hardy laugh over a sign in the Lady's room that made the profound declaration that 'Lipstick fixes Everything'. I made Maxine a little quilt like this as a keepsake and, liked it so much, I made this one for me!
