I call this 'My Salvation'. I started it shortly after the death of my sweet husband of almost 57 years. It was something that I could do without thinking about how to do it and the hours passed more quickly. There are 197 blocks and more than 200 different 1930 reproduction prints in the quilt. There are a total of 5,730 3/4 inch hexagons in the quilt! I grew up on a farm in Northeastern Oklahoma and learned to sew on feed sacks. The 1930s reproduction fabrics remind me of my childhood.
