Imperial Blooms was the Sue Spargo Block of the Month for 2011. I purchased her kits and threads, as I was still tentatively coming back to quilting after a long dry spell. I loved receiving the packages each month. Of course, I didn't start on time, or finish on time. But, I enjoyed the hand sewing, appliqueing, and beading. After all of the blocks were about done, I started doing extra embellishments above and beyond the designated embellishments. I am very happy with the results. There was a Yahoo group dedicated to this BOM, and it was fun to see the other students' photos, and get their input.
