My twin sister and I made this quilt as a wedding gift for our niece, Molly. I love how the designer combined applique and patchwork in this pattern. This was the first time I've ever machine quilted a black quilt. I learned that there's not enough light in the world for me to ever quilt another black one, but I'll always add some patchwork in my future appliqued quilts. :)
