Made to celebrate the 2008 wedding of my son, Chris, to his wonderful wife, Devon, and as a house warming gift for their new house. They loved the internal movement of the kaleidoscope but wanted it rendered in the stark contrast of black and white. I choose the backing to offer some relief and to introduce a touch of whimsy.
