One of my favorite occasions to decorate for is Halloween. So a "get in the spooky mood" quilt seemed in order. The attic windows make me think of an old decrepit mansion with cobwebs everywhere and bats flying all about. I can even imagine hearing the church or township bells slowly tolling the midnight hour in the background, while mysterious creatures cackle, giggle, and scream into the night.
Fussy cutting the multitude of focus fabrics, I hand pieced each individual block; then added sashing and the borders by machine. This was just a really fun quilt to make and will be fun to display for the season.
