I gave this quilt top to my daughter, Betsy, for her 17th birthday and told her it might take me a year to quilt it, but I promised it would be done by her 18th birthday. Of course, I was joking. Here I am now, hoping to complete it in time. The thickness of feathered stars has made this a very thick and difficult quilt, requiring surgical scissors to pull the needle through.
