Comments
I grew up in Lubbock, Texas with cotton farmers, sand storms, and flat land. My Grandmother's garden was a treasured place full of delicate blossoms, sweet smells and Grandma. The quilt's embroidered flowers honor my Grandmother and her flowers. They are nestled among the colors of the Texas Panhandle. The reds and browns are the rich soil, the greens and cream are the fields of cotton, and the black with the swirling leaves is the forever blowing wind. For me, this quilt is home.
