When I saw the blue fabric, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it. I bought the "New Zealand Quilter" magazine that had Donna Ward's Dreaming of Hawaii quilt on the cover. It took me awhile to get hold of her, but I got permission from Donna to put my half-sized version in local quilt shows.
