I made this quilt in 2005 for my sister-in-law Butet. She likes bright colors with black, so that’s what she got. Although my hubby said that the quilt looks like a "nightmare", both Butet and I really like the colors and the drama! I drafted the New York Beauty block and the border using EQ5 and pieced them using paper foundations. This is the first big quilt that I have quilted entirely on my domestic sewing machine. That was a challenge...exhausting, but so much fun that I will definitely do it again!
