This pineapple quilt was made from the pattern by Loretta Smith. I love the colors in this quilt, because the secondary design forms images that look like sunflowers yet again. It reminds me of Texas in July. The flying geese border was made from hand drafted paper piecing templates. The tiny evergreen border is reminiscent of my years living in Washington State. It was machine quilted by Sheri Haner and was a gift to my sister. Machine pieced and quilted.
