When the daughter of dear friends became engaged, I wanted to make her a quilt. I saw a picture of a "Hidden Heart" quilt in an advertisement, and decided that was the perfect quilt for the bride. I finished piecing the quilt in time for the wedding and planned to have it machine quilted, but the bride's grandmother asked if her dear friends in Oklahoma could hand quilt it instead. I was thrilled and think their quilt patterns really compliment the overall design. These ladies have been quilting together for years and I hope I am still quilting when I am their age!
