I don’t know why I didn’t realize until last year that my husband was born the same year that my parents married. So I designed this quilt to commemorate the year 1951 & these three people for whom I count my blessings. I pieced gold crazy log cabin blocks for date squares & the calendar pages grew from there. There are also some names hidden in the quilting. Stitched with much love & many thanks!
