Comments

In remodeling our bathrooms, I decided I needed a new wall hanging for the guest bath. I loved this book and had already several chosen to make someday. I decided this design would look good and not take too long. The pattern quilt finished at 29 x 33 with 3 inch blocks. I DON'T do teeny blocks, and besides I wanted a bigger wall hanging. So I enlarged the blocks to 4½ inches not realizing it would be this big. (But I do have a big wall.) I had a lot of Civil War scraps and chunks that went with the decor of the bathroom, so voila! (I wish!) But I'm happy with the result.

Techniques

Machine Piecing. Machine Quilting.
