Four years ago at the Houston International Quilt Show, I met the famous Japanese Quilter Yoko Saito. She had a booth; I spent a long time looking at her work and asking questions. She showed me some of her techniques and I bought a kit from her. It took me a long time to finish this quilt. The quilt was constructed with special Japanese yarn dye cotton fabric and Daiwabo print fabric.
