I made a quilt like this last year (minus the flying geese) for a dear friend's new grandbaby. I loved it so much I just had to make another. I decided to add the flying geese border and love the effect. I plan to give this quilt to my first great-grandchild someday. In the meantime it will brighten up my sewing room.
