Every year, I make a holiday quilt to display at home. I pieced this little top and thought that would be it for this year and then I added the corners, just to give it some size. I needed ideas to fill those corners and found inspiration in a children's coloring book. I chose to illustrate the quilt with four different parts of the tree experience, keeping each one separate. I hope each viewer of the quilt sees them and is returned to a favorite holiday tree memory.
