Shopping after last year's Quilt Fest in Houston, we were in a quilt store in Tomball and I found a number of 'critter' patterns that were very eye-catching. I purchased a polar bear one for my daughter and then turned around and saw the one for a wolf. Of course, I had to get that for myself as I have always had a thing for wolves. This was a fun project and while I usually use raw edge or a buttonhole stitch to attach applique, I got a chance to improve my satin stitching on my 'critter'.
