My fascination with the Dear Jane quilt began 4 years ago. This quilt is an inspiration from the original Jane A. Blakely Stickle quilt that was completed in 1863. This quilt has 169 center blocks and 112 border triangles. Each pieced block and triangle has its own design. There are no duplications. Once I began these blocks, I was addicted. Within six months, I completed the piecing of all blocks and triangles.
