I loved playing with modern fabrics in this old traditional pattern. I've seen it called Pickle Dish, as well as Gypsy Kisses, hence the name Pypsy Kishes! I've always admired this design, and was inspired by versions created by authors Kathy Doughty and Kaffe Fassett.
