This was my first completed quilt. I had started another in a class but realized I did not really like the colors and dropped it. Joanie Weeden's Gift of Quilting class was very good, especially for a beginner because we learned how to make a variety of patches. Another first for me was learning to use some of the features of EQ5. First I had to learn how to create the quilt using the software. Then, it was wonderful to be able to scan in fabrics and then see how the quilt would actually look with those colors in the patches. I could rearrange the colors and decide exactly where I wanted to place them. I've enjoyed having the quilt hang in my house and I will always love autumn colors.
