I took a workshop by Barbara Olson on her Cosmic Spirals pattern many years ago at a quilt guild in Houston. I literally agonized (too much!) over each and every piece of fabric in this quilt, raiding both my and my mother's stashes constantly and fussy-cutting to get the exact patch I wanted. Probably because of all the time in this quilt despite its small size, I am extremely proud of this little spiral.
