I saw this pattern in a quilt shop in California last fall. I fell in love with the pattern and needed this challenge. Raw-edge machine appliqué was a new technique for me. The pieces were not supposed to match up perfectly and the background foundation is supposed to show! This was "out of the box" for me and I loved it!
