The Secret Garden quilt was designed on a visit to Austin by my sister-in law, Jan Jaynes Quesada of Dallas, Texas. Jan arranged the fabric squares on a gridded interfacing, ironed the squares to the interfacing, and then I sewed them together. I adapted the quilting design from the floral fabric on the back of the quilts. Ask for a peek of the back of the quilt! After the 2006 Austin Area Quilt Show, the Secret Garden will be "transplanted" to its permanent home in Dallas.
