Asian Elegance is my first attempt at both hand appliqué and beading for embellishment. I do think I have a love/hate relationship with both of these techniques. I hate the doing of it but love the results, especially the effect of hand appliqué coupled with pieced quilts. I know I will keep on doing these, but slowly. The orange fabric used in the large triangles is hand-dyed.
