I am a big fan of Gwen Marston. I especially love the quilts in her book, "Liberated String Quilts". This is my version of what she calls the Amish Rectangular String quilt. Making this quilt gave me an opportunity to work with solid colors. By sticking to bright colors, I didn't get bored with the solid fabrics. I love the strong geometric look of the quilt.
